I have a tutorial for you today using the Field of Flowers bundle.
This card and tutorial were designed by me.
Supplies:
Stamp Set and Punch Bundle: Field of Flowers (154108)
Cardstock (CS): Bermuda Bay (131197) Basic Black (121045) Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Bermuda Bay (147096) Granny Apple Green (147095) Mango Melody (147094) Poppy Parade (147050) Magenta Madness (153080) Memento Black (132708)
Tools & Accessories: Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (151775) Sponge Dauber (133773)
Misc: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) Mini Glue Dots (103683) Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)
Measurements:
Card Base: Bermuda Bay 5 ½ x 8 ½, fold at 4 ¼
Cardstock #2: Basic Black 3 ¾ X 2 ¾
Cardstock #3: Whisper White (1) 5 ¼ X 4 and (1) 3 1/8 X 2 5/8
Instructions:
- Using the Subtle 3D Embossing folder, emboss the larger piece of Whisper White cardstock. With the sponge dauber, add light touches of Bermuda Bay ink to the embossed paper.
- On the smaller white piece, stamp the grass border in Granny Apple Green along the bottom edge.
- Using Memento Black, stamp the ALWAYS on the upper part of the small piece. and choose which additional sentiment you want to use from the set, and stamp it below the large ALWAYS
- Using Bermuda Bay, stamp a couple of dragonflies
- Using a strip White CS, stamp the flower stamp, once with each of the colors (Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Magenta Madness.
- Turn the Field of Flowers over so you can see the punch holes, and align your flowers to match the holes. Punch each set of colors.
- Apply as many flowers as you want to the grass stamp, using mini glue dots. (save the additional flowers for other cards)
- Glue the small stamped piece onto the black cardstock and glue the large white embossed piece onto the card front. Add the black piece using dimensionals.
- Add additional dragonfly if you like.
- Use a piece of Whisper White CS 3 3/4 x 5 for the inside of the card, stamp a dragonfly and a couple of flowers to dress up the inside!
