The cards for today started off to show how quick and easy it is to make an impressive card with just paper and ink. These 2 cards used the Approaching Perfection stamp set and the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, both free items from Sale-a-bration. Oh, I added a little ribbon and used the Balloon Bouquet punch. Just cut the paper, stamp the sentiment, punch the balloons, stick it together and add a bow. Quick and easy!
Well, then I picked up a different color of the Oh So Ombre paper, and just had to step up the basic plan a little bit. I have a hard time with the simple stamping cards...The first one is still pretty simple, but the second one got a little extra care. Added a layer of Basic White cardstock, tilted all the layers, added a big heart, used the little heart border die from the Floral Heart Dies, added my favorite trim, Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (which you can color with markers to make it be any color you need!) and stuck the little white hearts from the border die all over the place. Still pretty simple, but stepped up a little.
